About Plixer FlowPro Combined Defender & APM

FlowPro will equip you to perform root-cause analysis of both network performance and security events, so you can optimise your network and respond quickly to security incidents.

TAP, SPAN or mirror to send a stream of network traffic to FlowPro, which will then generate rich IPFIX metadata and forward it to Scrutinizer for collection, storage and analysis.

FlowPro Combined Defender & APM generates enhanced IPFIX containing many additional data types relating to application performance and security.

Using deep packet analysis, FlowPro APM monitors critical application traffic, both internally and in the cloud, providing detailed visibility of each connection, enabling you to optimise the end-user experience. It also provides insights into potential configuration issues so you can troubleshoot quality issues.

Installed where it can monitor all your DNS traffic, FlowPro Defender will give you access to information on what’s entering and leaving your network over DNS. Using deep packet inspection and behavioural analytics, it quickly identifies assets that have been compromised by malware attempting to abuse your DNS.

The price listed here is for the first year of a three year subscription of Plixer FlowPro Combined Defender & Application Performance Monitoring (APM) Network Probe. There is also a five year subscription option.
